Kananook Boardwalk - Completed in June 2008, the board took out the major prize of the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia (IPEWA) Victoria Excellence Award. The boardwalk was also named Community Assets under $1million at the LG Pro Excellence Awards in February 2009.

Seaford Life Saving Club (SLSC) - Winner - Best Coastal Building and Design - 2009 Victorian Coastal Awards for Excellence

Winner - Outstanding Public Building - 2009 Architectural and Design Excellence Awards in the South East

The $1.4 million Seaford Life Saving Club project was funded by Council and included a $70,000 grant from Life Saving Victoria via the Seaford Life Saving Club. The building, designed by Robert Simeoni Architects Pty Ltd, has also been presented with the Marion Mahony Award for Interior Architecture, and a National Architectural Award for best public building.
