The Community Atlas contains key socio-demographic characteristics presented in interactive maps.
The socio-demographic characteristics are related to:
- Population
- Ethnicity
- Education
- Households
- Income
- Labour force
- Housing
- Computer use
- Areas of disadvantage
Each map uses Census Collector Districts to identify spatial patterns and trends in each of the eight neighbourhood areas that form Frankston City: Carrum Downs, Frankston Central, Frankston Heights, Frankston North, Frankston South, Karingal, Langwarrin/Langwarrin South and Seaford. The interactive maps allow you to scan over each one and identify the percentage and figure in each collector district in the neighbourhood areas.
Working Population Profile
As part of the Community Profile, the Working Population Profile has data on residences of Frankston City workers, where residents in Frankston City work and the profile of workers. This data is useful for planning in instances such as roads and public transport and shows employment opportunities within the municipality. Alternatively, download the Journey To Work (PDF) profile.
