Myki - the new smart card ticketing system for Victoria's public transport - is now in use on Melbourne's trains, trams and buses as well as on regional bus services in Bendigo, Ballarat, Seymour, Geelong and the Latrobe Valley.

Myki offers particular benefits to seniors, including access to free travel in any two adjacent zones (e.g. Zones 1 and 2 throughout the metropolitan area) on Sundays. And from 1 January 2011, this free travel entitlement will be extended to include Saturdays as well. On weekdays, seniors will pay no more than $3.30 per day for their travel with a myki.
