White Street Project
The White Street Project (WSP) facilitates innovative projects in contemporary art and cross disciplinary practices providing a platform for emerging artists, collectives and cross disciplinary teams to explore the relationship between their practice and site/context specific work in the public realm. Most selected artists have a track record as exhibiting artists and are chosen regardless of media and any genre.
Current Project
For this first cycle "EXPLOSION" aims to explore our responses to and the mediation of disaster; in this, instance explosions.
Kit Wise, is a Melbourne based artist, who lectures in Fine Arts at Monash University, Melbourne. He is represented by "Sarah Scout Presents Gallery" in Melbourne and has had exhibitions internationally, including Australia, Britain, China, Italy.
WSP production funds all selected work. These works are temporary works and remain the property of the artist. The principal sponsor for WSP is Arts Victoria.
