Retail Awards Recognise 'Good Looks'

Each year Frankston City Council recognises the city's finest shop fronts with the Frankston City Shop Front Awards.  Shop fronts are judged on innovativeness, use of materials, colours and themes, cleanliness, signange and the flow through of the theme into the store.

(NB/ The awards were not held in 2008, with the view to incorproate into another Awards program in 2009)

Nominations can be made by businesses or the public in the following categories:

• Shopping Centre - independent retail business within a hard-top shopping centre (e.g. Bayside, Karingal, Carrum Downs, Gateway)
• Non Shopping Centre - City Centre -independent retail business outside of hard-top shopping centres that are located in the Frankston City Centre.
• Non Shopping Centre - Non City Centre -  Independent retail business outside of hard-top shopping centres that are located outside of the Frankston City Centre. 
• Overall Winner: Can be any business that has been nominated in the above categories.

An independent judging panel assesses the nominations.
