Disability Access and Inclusion Committee
The Disability Access and Inclusion Committee is a formally constituted Advisory Committee to Council.
The functions of the Committee are:
- Provide information and recommendations to Frankston City Council with the purpose of meeting the needs of people with disabilities and to support Council in meeting its statutory obligations
- Make recommendations to Council on disability access and inclusion, future projects, policy development and strategies
- Advise on the development of statutory Disability Action Plans and monitor their implementation
- Assist in shaping inclusive communities in the Frankston area

Members of the Committee may work on issues of special interest such:
- Infrastructure
- Information
- Transport
- Service provision
- Service gaps
- Consultation and others
The Committee meets every six weeks.
