Library Services
Frankston Library Service provides a wide range of information and library resources for people of all abilities.
For people with low vision:
- Large Print books: We have a large range of fiction and non-fiction titles in big print.
- Talking Books: Listen to fiction and non-fiction books on cassette, CD or MP3 CD.
- Talking Newspaper Service: Access local newspapers on cassette, sent to your home. Contact the library for more information.
- Windows PCs with magnification software.
For people with hearing difficulties:
- Videos and DVDs with subtitles
For people with difficulty communicating:
- Communication boards are available at customer service desks
- Telephone Typewriter (TTY) Phones: Frankston (03) 9784 1707 and Carrum Downs (03) 9782 6871
For people with physical needs:
- Height adjustable tables at Frankston Library and Carrum Downs Library
- Wheelchair and scooter access
- Recharge access point
For people who are unable to visit the library:
- Home Library Service: Access books, films, music CD's, magazines and more through our free delivery service.
- Library catalogue and online databases are available via our Web site
