Frankston City is exposed to the impacts of climate change including:

  • sea level rise / storm surge
  • intense rainfall / inland flooding
  • fire weather
  • changes to average and extreme temperatures and
  • changes to average rainfall

Adaptation is preparing for a changed climate
Frankston City Council has adopted the Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation Plan to help Council and community facilitate action and reduce vulnerability to the impacts of climate change.
