Information on the following grants, rebates and free services are included below:

Energy
To help combat climate change and encourage Victorians to undertake Energy saving actions, the Victorian Government has launched the Energy Saver Incentive.
The Energy Saver Incentive provides discounts and special offers on selected products to help save Energy at home. All sorts of organisations offering products and services to help you save Energy can participate - from your Energy retailer, to your local appliance store, to plumbers, builders and other tradespeople.
Assistance is provided by accredited contractors for work such as replacement of inefficient light globes and showerheads, replacement of old, inefficient hot Water and space heaters and a wide range of other home improvement measures. Many initiatives will be free to residents while others will be subsidised.

Water
FREE Showerhead Exchange Program - It's quick, easy and free!
South East Water, in partnership with Frankston City Council, is currently offering a free Showerhead Exchange Program to its customers to save water.
Bring in your old, inefficient showerhead from home to one of Council's exchange points and exchange it for a free 3 star Water efficient showerhead!
All you need to do is:
- Use a spanner or shifter to undo your existing showerhead from the wall (counter clockwise).
- Bring your showerhead and a copy of your most recent Water bill to your nearest exchange point (see below).
- Install your new showerhead (simple instructions are provided on the pack).
Council's exchange points (available to Frankston City community only) are located at:
- Frankston Civic Centre, Cnr Davey and Young Streets, Frankston
- Langwarrin Shop 6, Gateway Shopping Village, Langwarrin
- Seaford Shop, 120 Nepean Highway, Seaford
Terms and Conditions
Exchange offer only available to South East Water customers. 3 star showerheads not compatible with gravity fed or some older instantaneous hot Water systems. Tenants require consent from the property owner prior to exchanging their showerhead. Other terms and conditions available from the exchange point.

Living Victoria Water Rebate Program
Why not be rewarded for buying and installing Water saving products for your home and garden? The Victorian Government is currently offering a rebate scheme to households for Water saving products.
You can claim cash rebates on products such as:
- 3 star Water efficient showerheads
- Garden products (such as trigger nozzles, compost/mulch, wetting agents, irrigations systems, rainwater diverters)
- Rainwater tanks
- Upgrading to dual flush toilets
- Home Water conservation audit service
- Hot Water recirculator
- Washing machines
- Pool covers with roller/reel
- Greywater systems (for re-using wastewater)

Council's Community Grants Scheme
Frankston City Council has a range of community grants and incorporated community organisations are eligible to apply. The application process occurs once a year. Environmental initiatives are an area supported by Council's grant program.
Examples of previously successful grants have been funding for equipment to support education and operation of wildlife rescues, funding to run a seminar series on safe use of greywater, funding for equipment to assist volunteers in working in natural reserves, funding for holding an environmental event.
It is advisable for community groups to discuss their funding proposals with Council's Environment Department before applying. Maximum grant is up to $10,000 for one project. Community groups are expected to make in-kind and/or funding contributions to their proposed project.

Philanthropy Australia
Philanthropy Australia is the national peak body for philanthropy and is a not-for-profit membership organisation. Members are trusts and foundations, families and individuals who want to make a difference through their own philanthropy and to encourage others to become philanthropists.

Rebates - Energy Efficient Products
The Victorian Government currently has rebates available for a range of Energy efficient appliances, as well as gadgets that can help you save Energy at home or for your business.
The program is called the Energy Saver Incentive, and it includes discounts and special offers to make Energy efficiency at home more affordable. The Victorian Government has put together a list of participating businesses, including tradespeople, appliance stores and Energy retail companies, who are accredited to pass on the savings to you.
The bigger the greenhouse gas reduction, the bigger your potential incentive.
Incentives and savings range from large items such as replacing inefficient heating and cooling systems, hot Water systems and large household appliances, through to draught proofing and Energy standby eliminators.
