Street Tree Guidelines
Frankston City Council is creating attractive, healthy and safe streetscapes through a Street Tree Management program. We already have more than 43,000 street trees, with over 450 different species.
Good planning and appropriate maintenance is vital for safe and manageable street and roadside trees that will provide aesthetic, material, environmental and ecological benefits to the community. This policy complements other Council strategies including the Municipal Streetscape Strategy, Central Activities District Streetscape Master Plan and Mains Roads Master Plans.
