Expression of Interest
Planning a community event, but not feeling confident?
Not sure what needs to be done? Don't know where to start?
Frankston City Council Events Unit is inviting Expressions of Interest from community groups to attend community event workshops, which will allow you to tackle your upcoming event with all the skills and confidence required!
These workshops will be specifically tailored to groups in the process of planning an event, or who have plans of running an event in the near future. So that we can tailor these workshops to your specific needs, please list below the topics you would like to cover.
This could include, but is not limited to
- Event Planning
- Risk Management
- Marketing; or
- Sponsorship
Previous workshops have proven very popular and we will endeavour to give you the knowledge you require to successfully run your own event. It is proposed to hold the workshops in July/August and depending on the level of interest, further information will be provided on date and venue. Two workshops are proposed - a basic 3 hour workshop on the above topics and an advanced 3 hour workshop on more specific topics, dependent on your requests.
