Public Dental Clinic
A public dental clinic is available for residents to access dental care for little or no cost. This service is operated on an appointment basis and according to age.

Dental Services are provided by Peninsula Health at Frankston, Hastings and Rosebud. For emergency dental care, phone the closest clinic. Your dental condition will be assessed immediately and care offered within 24 hours.
Dental services are available to Health Care Card holders and others who meet the assessment criteria.
The cost of treatment varies and depends upon your situation.

Smiles 4 Miles

Smiles 4 Miles is an exciting oral health promotion program funded by Dental Health Services Victoria for kindergarten aged children currently being implemented in several locations around Victoria.
The program aims to encourage and recognise early childhood settings who are leading the way in promoting healthy environments for children through developing policies and prevention strategies to ensure better health outcomes for all children.
Smiles 4 Miles is working with early childhood settings in Frankston City to promote the following messages:
- Eat Well - promoting fresh fruit and vegetables rather than pre-packaged snacks high in sugar and/or fat
- Drink Well - promoting water rather than sweet drinks
- Clean Well - encouraging regular tooth brushing through curriculum activities and information for parents
- Play Well - encouraging regular, safe active play.
- Stay Well - encouraging sunsmart behaviour and links to local dental services.
