Parent Education and Support Programs

Outreach Maternal and Child Health

Parents, guardians or granparents of children birth to six years of age and their families can access support and training programs through the provision of a professional, family-centred primary health service, that is universal, culturally sensitive and free at the point of delivery to the residents of Frankston City. Enhanced Maternal and Child Health brochure
Playgroups

Enhanced Maternal and Child Health - Families or professionals wanting a referral or information on the enhanced service are required to contact their Maternal and Child Health Nurse.

Family Support Programs - For further information contact the Maternal and Child Health Outreach Team Leader on (03) 9768 1658 or your Maternal and Child Health Nurse.

 Parent Education Program January to June 2012 - Free programs are run for the community to access and topics include:

  • Toddler behaviour
  • BUBs Groups (Boost Up Blues)
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resusatation (CPR)
  • Antenatal Group
  • Creative Play
  • Baby Cues
  • Toilet Training
