Making Tennis More Accessible

For the second successive summer, Frankston City Council is working with local tennis clubs to reduce their water use, and ensure more courts are available for play throughout the year.
Summer by the Bay

Thanks to Showtime Attractions and TPA Shows, Frankston Park, the home of the Dolphins, will be transformed into a mini-theme park for two exciting weeks over summer. Known as Summer by the Bay, the festival will run from Boxing Day until Sunday, 11 January.
New Tanks Saving Water

The recent heavy storms have been good news for the Frankston City Council Depot, filling their 10 new Bushman's water tanks to the brim. Installation of the tanks was jointly funded by Council and the Department of Sustainability and Environment through the Stormwater and Urban Conservation Fund, and will significantly reduce Council's reliance on mains water.
Working With Children Checks

Frankston City Council is strongly encouraging local sports clubs, and other community groups and organisations, who work with children, to be aware of their responsibilities and know which staff require Working With Children Checks.
Community Grants Applications Now Open

Applications are now open for Council's 2009-2010 Community Grants program, which assist groups that provide services and programs that benefit the Frankston community.
