Frankston City Mayor Alistair Wardle will officially open the upgraded Eric Bell Pavilion. The Eric Bell Reserve is shared by the Pines football and cricket clubs, who have a combined membership of more than 250.

Fourteen Indonesian local government officers, in Australia as part of the Indonesia Australia Specialised Training Project, will be visiting Frankston City from 2-6 June. Frankston City Council has voted unanimously to support the Victorian Government's Alcohol Action Plan. Council will write to Premier John Brumby congratulating him on the plan, and requesting that Frankston City be included in the three month trial banning patrons entering licensed premises after 2:00am.
