Eleven early childhood services across the Frankston City are making inroads to improve the oral health of our youngest community members by taking part in Smiles 4 Miles  - a Statewide health promotion program devised by Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) to prevent the onset of dental disease in preschoolers.
New Mobile Security Cameras

Community safety is on the move, with Frankston City Council unveiling four new mobile cameras that can be used throughout the municipality to identify people who engage in illegal and anti-social behaviour, and can zoom in from several hundred metres away if required.
Walk 2 School Safely Day

Friday, 15 May is Walk to School Safely Day, and Elisabeth Murdoch College along with St Jude's and Langwarrin primary schools - and schools right around the municipality -  are taking part to encourage physical activity and reduce traffic congestion.
Dolphins Help Auskick Push

An Evening with Jim O'Brien

The television series Underbelly has taken Australia by storm, but caused equally as much controversy about    the accuracy of  its depiction of underworld crime in Melbourne. Residents can now hear the story    "from the horse's mouth", with a free evening with Jim O'Brien, the Officer in Charge of the Purana Taskforce.
Langwarrin Community Safety Meeting

Frankston City Council is continuing its series of community safety meetings in Langwarrin, aimed at encouraging social behaviour and giving residents the chance to provide direct feedback to Council. The meeting will be held at 6:30pm on Wednesday, 22 April, at the Langwarrin Park Primary School, Northgateway, Langwarrin.

Sandsational Easter Egg Hunt

Everyone knows Easter is a great time to hunt for eggs, and the story isn't any different at the Sand Sculpting Australia  - DinoStory exhibition at the Frankston Waterfront. The exhibition is open right across the Easter break, including Good Friday, and children will be able to search for  "sand eggs".
Free Children's Day

Jubilee Park Pool Good Friday Fundraiser

Good Friday is one of just three days in the year when Jubilee Park Aquatic Centre closes its doors. But thanks to the generosity of its staff, who will donate their time for the day, the pool is open for business, with all proceeds going to the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
