Frankston City Mayor Colin Hampton has welcomed Planning Minister Justin Madden �™s decision to amend the Frankston Planning Scheme to incorporate the Council's Preferred Development Model for a new Safe Boat Harbour.
Council Plan Out for Public Comment

Frankston City Council has released its 2009-2013 Council Plan for public exhibition. The plan is aligned with the aspirations of the Frankston 2025 Community Vision, which was developed by residents and Council, and launched in November 2007.
Free Kindergarten

New Regulations for Shared Accommodation

New State Government regulations for buildings considered Class 3 Shared Accommodation Buildings come into place on Sunday, 14 June, requiring such buildings to have an installed sprinkler system that meets Australian Standards. This includes boarding houses, guest houses, hotel lodging and backpacker accommodation.
