Public Transport Ombudsman (PTO)
The Public Transport Ombudsman (PTO) Ltd is a free, confidential and impartial alternative dispute resolution scheme available to people who use, or are affected by public passenger transport services, or related activities of public transport in Victoria.
The majority of Victorian public transport operators must participate in the PTO scheme and are called 'members' in our Charter. We can only handle complaints about operators who are members. For ease of use, we refer to members of the scheme as 'operators' and the people who contact us as 'consumers'.
