Walking Clubs and Groups

Frankston City has several walking clubs that cater for all needs. The clubs vary in the difficulty of the walking they do, allowing everyone to choose an option that suits their ability levels.

Bayside Walking Club, on hold for Centre Works (September 2011)
The Bayside Walking Club is run by The Sports Injury Clinic and Peninsula Health. A qualified trainer leads walking routes throughout Bayside Shopping Centre

Suitable for all ages. Walk at your own pace and share some refreshments and social time after the walk! Medium fitness level required

Centro Karingal Health Walks, Karingal
Centro Karingal Health Walks are run by Peninsula Health and the Mornington Peninsula GP Network. Walks are conducted indoors, outside of centre trading hours. Casual Walking Group, Carrum Downs
Enjoy a leisurely walk with other friendly people in the community

Suitable for:All ages including Seniors with reasonable balance and fitness

Dog Walking Group, Baxter Park
Take your best friend for a walk through the park for one hour, followed by tea and coffee. Dogs must be well socialised and non-aggressive.

Cost:Annual Membership $12. Weekly walk free.
Suitable for:All ages including Seniors. Please contact prior to attending to ensure your dog is suitably socialised.

U3A Bush Walking
Enjoy a longer walk, 10-12km range, with a warm friendly atmosphere. Please BYO lunch and water. Moderate fitness is required.

U3A Rambling All Over 
Gentle, easy chat, tempo taking in walking paths all over Melbourne. Bring a packed lunch, water and hat to enjoy walks of 4-6km.
