Concessions
The Municipal rates concessions provides a 50% discount off your Council rates up to a maximum of $193.40 2011/2012. The amount is increased each year in line with inflation
Eligibility
To be eligible for the rebate, the ratepayer must be the holder of one of the current cards:
- Pensioner Concession Card issued by Centrelink or the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)
- DVA Gold Card - Totally and Permanently incapacitated (TPI)
- DVA Gold Card - War Widow (WW)

Please note:
- Health Care Card holders are ineligible for the rebate
- This Government rebate is only entitled on your principal place of residence
How to Apply?
To apply for a rebate, you must present your relevant card at one of our Customer Service outlets (also listed below) and complete an application form. Once your application has been validated by the relevant authority, the appropriate rebate amount will be applied to your rates.

- Langwarrin Shop - Gateway Shopping Centre, Langwarrin
- Seaford Shop - 120 Nepean Highway, Seaford
- Carrum Downs Library - 203 Lyrebird Drive, Carrum Downs
