Keep it clean on site
Frankston City Council has developed a Building and Works Code of Practice to ensure safety on building sites and to protect local amenity and the environment.
The Code of Practice is supported by Frankston City Council's Local Law No. 7 and the Environment Protection Act 1970.
All Building Permits issued as of 1 June 2004 are required to comply with all aspects of the Building and Works Code of Practice. Upon notification to Council of the issuing of a Building Permit, Council officers will inspect each building site to ensure compliance and offer advice.
Frankston City Council wants to ensure that all personnel working on building sites are aware of their responsibilities. Council provides education to those requiring assistance in achieving an acceptable standard of site management.
