Building Fact Sheet 4 - SAFETY FENCING FOR SWIMMING POOLS AND SPAS
Any excavation or structure containing water that is used primarily for swimming, wading, paddling or the like, is defined as a swimming pool. Safety barriers must be provided to all swimming pools or spas exceeding 300mm in depth.
