The following information will help you complete the Registration/Alteration Form.

• Children are eligible to register for 4 year old Kindergarten on or after their second birthday, so please enrol as soon as possible after that date as places are limited
• Children must have their 4th birthday on or before April 30¡¨ to be eligible to attend a funded 4 year old kindergarten program in that year. (Please see table overleaf for your child¡¦s year of entry)
• Children must turn 5 on or before April 30th to be eligible to attend a primary school in that year.
• Victorian State Government policy states that a child is entitled to one year of funded kindergarten experience prior to starting school. If you have concerns that your child may not be ready for kindergarten, please contact your local kindergarten teacher or Preschool Field Officers to discuss your child¡¦s options.
• Parents should choose 3 kindergartens in order of preference on the form.
• If your child does not get a place at the kindergarten of your first choice then you will be offered an alternative kindergarten. Parents will be notified of their kindergarten allocation by the end of the year prior to the child commencing kindergarten.�n�n�n
• If a parent/guardian would like to change any information on the original
  registration e.g.kindergarten preference, year of attendance, change of address etc. then an Enrolment Registration/Alteration form must be lodged
  with Frankston City Council
• You can get Enrolment Registration/Alteration Forms from kindergartens, Maternal and Child Heath Centres, Frankston Information Council Shops, Frankston City Council Civic Centre or download a copy from thelink below
• �n�n�nNon Frankston resident children may enrol on or after their second birthday,
  however, Frankston City residents will be given priority over those living
  outside the municipality.
