Vegetation Program

We recognise the values that trees and other indigenous vegetation bring to our City - the maintenance of our biodiversity, the health and well-being of our community and the aesthetics of our neighbourhoods. Look here for updates on the Greening Frankston Planting Program.

Recycled Water Program 

Our community values, green sporting grounds, parks and gardens.  Frankston City is committed to delivering recycled water to these key community assets. 

Strategic Land Acquisition 

Council is identifying existing and future opportunities to provide improved integration of open space through strategic land acquisition. 

Community Education 

We all value our high quality natural assets, and Council is helping the community to understand and become involved in looking after these precious green resources. 

Significant Tree Register 

Providing our community with a say in the protection of significant vegetation within our City.

Reporting and Monitoring 

Greening Frankston will report back annually to our community on the implementation of the program.
