Asset Management Strategy
Frankston City Council adopted the Asset Management Strategy on 21 August 2006. This strategy aims to build Council's Asset Management capacity by improving its capability and applying the Policy principles to the point where it would be recognised as best appropriate practice.
It proposes that by increasing Council's ability to manage its assets by improving its knowledge of those assets through an integrated and resourced asset management information system and through improved processes and practices, a sustainable community will be able to be maintained in a manner that delivers economic, environmental and social value.
