Garbage Kerbside Collection

Place out your 80 or 120 litre garbage bin for weekly collection. .

Garbage waste includes all types of food waste, nappies (wrapped), ceramics, meat, polystyrene, plastic bags, and small quantities of window glass (wrapped in newspaper).

Either return your plastic bags to the supermarket for recycling or place plastic bags in your garbage bin.

Make sure you do not place any chemicals, paint or oil in your garbage bin. Oil should be taken to the Waste Transfer Station for recycling. Paint and chemicals should be recycled at the annual Sustainability Victoria household chemical collection. Timber and other building materials must not go into your garbage bin. Some of these can be recycled at the Waste Transfer Station or put out at your next Hard Waste Collection.

Please place plastic bags and polystyrene in your garbage bin.
