What can I put in my recycling bin?
Many common household items can be recycled in Frankston City Council's kerbside recycling collection.
What you can and cannot place into your recycling bin:

Plastic items with codes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7. Includes
| Plastic containers with no code, includes moulded plastic cake and biscuit plastic containers.

Recycling Tips:
- Crush all cartons, plastic and cans.
- Crush and tear cardboard boxes to prevent jamming.
- Do NOT place recyclables in plastic bags!
Frankston residents are to be congratulated for their outstanding contribution to the success of our kerbside recycling program. Each Frankston resident on average, produces 6.2 kg of recyclables per week.
