Council requires that each real estate office must have a permit to display real estate signage, including open for inspection (OFI) signs. This permit is an annual permit which is valid for the 12 month Financial Year period i.e. from 1st July of the current year to 30th June of the following year.
This permit will allow for one sign to be placed on the nature strip in front of the property on the day of the OFI. The sign must be removed within one hour of completion of the event.
Note: this permit covers all ‘open for inspection’ events undertaken by a real estate agency within the Frankston Municipality.
