Down's Estate Community Project

The Down's Estate Community Project fosters community connection and care for the environment by establishing a community gathering and learning place.

Activities include:

building community resilience and wellbeing
connecting to local history and culture
demonstrating and teaching sustainable food production.

It is a large community garden space for all with private plots available.

Membership

If you are interested in becoming a member, you can email downsestatecommunications@gmail.com or visit the garden during their weekly working bees, held every Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm.

There is currently no fee to join and new members are required to sign a code of conduct.
