Pines Garden Patch

Basket of herbs in a community garden setting

The Pines Garden Patch is a community-based, non-profit, non-commercial garden which is supported by the Pines Community Men’s Shed. The Patch supplies vegetables and flowers to the community and to the Frankston North Community Centre, located next door to the Patch. They also provide vegetables to people passing by.

The Patch is accessible to all, providing a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment where everyone can work in the garden at their own leisure and enjoy the company of others.

They provide a social environment with the goal to advance the health and well-being of members by encouraging social inclusion and participation.

Membership

Prospective members are invited to visit the Patch and see the gardening facilities that would be available to them. The Patch asks that prospective members sign a membership form by their third visit.

Annual members receive a key for access at any time. As part of membership, a personal garden bed may be allocated you, depending on availability and proposed usage of the bed.

Contact the Patch to learn more and become a member.
