Botany Park Preschool began its journey in 1983 as not-for-profit community-based preschool to provide an educational preschool program for children aged 3-6 years. The preschool is situated on a shared site together with Botany Park Maternal Health Centre and is overseen by a Committee of Management comprising of Parent Volunteers and supported by passionate and engaging teachers.

At Botany Park Preschool we cherish our bush setting and our exciting and vast outdoor environment is hidden away and needs to be seen to be believed.

Botany Park Preschool provides a safe environment which lovingly nurtures the children. The dedicated teachers intend to inspire, capture and engage their minds to foster their innate “Brilliance”

The Educational play-based program endeavours to work collaboratively with the children, families, and wider community. The program endeavours to encourage the children to develop their strengths, interests, knowledge, and skills, whilst exploring their abilities and challenging their learning. The Preschool is guided by the Early Year Learning Framework and works to ensure the children are growing and developing in accordance with the learning outcomes. Through active listening and reciprocal relationships, the teachers create an educational path which acknowledges the cultural diversity and views of all present within the program.

Botany Park Preschool provides the children with a multitude of opportunities to grow their knowledge and appreciation for their natural environment. Botany Park Preschool believes children respond with respect and explore empathy when they have a connection to the land, people, animals, and plants.

Botany Park Preschool is a place where each child can “Be Me”.
