You must have a permit to:
- use the Keast Park horse beach facility
- ride or exercise a horse at Keast Park.
You may be issued with a penalty infringement notice if you do not have a valid permit.
Permit conditions
- Parking of trucks/floats permitted in designated area only.
- No galloping in park or on foreshore at any time.
- The riding of horses is restricted between the Riviera Outfall and the Kingston City / Frankston City boundaries.
- Any horse excrement must be removed before the horse leaves the area.
- Horse access from the car park to the beach is only permitted from Gate 31.
- Access to the playground, gardens, lawns or other public land is not permitted.
- Horse access is only permitted during the hours of 5:30am to 8:30am Monday to Saturday.
- Horse riding is not permitted on Sundays or Public Holidays.
- An annual fee of $406.00 applies for each float/truck seeking access to Keast Park for any horse related activity (Permit is subject to review).
- Permit must be displayed on dashboard of truck/vehicle at all times.
