Smoke free outdoor areas
Frankston City Council is committed to creating a healthy environment for everyone and reducing the damaging effects of second-hand smoke.
Smoke free areas can be identified by checking for Council signs. You may be issued with a $200 on-the-spot fine for ignoring these signs.
Court penalties of up to $2000 may apply for unpaid penalty notices.
Call the Quitline on 13 7848 (13 QUIT) if you need support to manage or quit smoking.

Smoking is banned in all outdoor dining areas across the state. This ban extends to all forms of smoking, including e-cigarettes and shisha tobacco.
Food fairs and outdoor event operators must also comply with the Victorian Government laws. Outdoor drinking areas can be excepted if they comply with a number of conditions.
