Rapid Response Team

Council’s Rapid Response Team provide a visible presence throughout the municipality, focusing on proactive patrols and providing a quick response to Local Law issues.

You will see the team out in our community:

  • Performing proactive patrols across Frankston City, including our beaches, reserves, suburban retail shopping strips and town centres
  • Investigating Local Law offences
  • Educating the community to reduce offences and reported issues
  • Quickly responding to reported issues from our community

What you can report to the Rapid Response Team

Local Law breaches including:

  • Offensive behaviour and obstruction of footpaths
  • Public consumption of alcohol and open containers
  • Smoking/vaping in designated smoke free areas
  • Graffiti currently occurring & minor purchasing spray pain products
  • Excessive noise or nuisance from buskers
  • Footpath trading: furniture and signage blocking footpaths and walkways

What to include when reporting an issue

  • Location of the issue
  • Date & time the issue is occurring
  • Description of the person(s) involved
  • Your contact details

Always call Triple Zero (000) to contact Victoria Police, if you’re in danger, need to report a crime in progress or for immediate police attendance.
