Welcoming Cities

Frankston City Council joined the Welcoming Cities network in October 2023 and committed to pursuing accreditation through the Welcoming Cities standard.  

Welcoming Cities is a national network of more than 80 member Councils who are committed to an Australia where everyone can belong and participate in social, cultural, economic and civic life.

The Welcoming Cities Standard provides a nationally benchmarked assessment for cultural diversity and inclusion policy and practice in Local Government.
