Our communication

Council uses Facebook to share news to our community on the success of our advocacy such as election commitments and budget announcements towards our key advocacy priorities.

Social sharing:

Frankston City Council attends many local events with our state and federal Members of Parliament, including where funding has been delivered towards a Council project. Subsequently, Council will share stories and updates on Facebook for our community to be aware of what’s happening in their local area and how Council is working with other levels of government to deliver the best outcomes for the Frankston City community.

Reporting of any issues

During election years, it is essential for Council to monitor issues such as election signage as per relevant planning schemes and policies. To ensure our reporting is transparent, below is an outline of complaints and their actions. (To navigate please use the scroll bar at the bottom of the table).

A quick guide on what can and cannot be done in relation to election signage is available here - Election signage - dos and don'ts(PDF, 502KB)

Should you have any election signage compliance concerns, you may report these to Council by phone on 1300 322 322 or use the Snap Send Solve app.
