Monterey Reserve Precinct Improvements
The opportunity
We want to see Monterey Reserve in Frankston North transformed into a welcoming space for people of all ages through a major precinct revitalisation.
What will be delivered
- A new and improved youth space boasting the latest and greatest skate infrastructure
- A new and improved play space creating a longer-lasting experience for young families
- A new multi-generational space offering exercise opportunities for our wisest residents
- Upgrade of the existing picnic area and creation of two new picnic areas
- An upgrade to the existing sound shell play sculpture
- Improved soccer social and spectator areas
- Inclusion of water sensitive urban design and greening elements, bring the area back to nature
- Upgrades to existing paths and installation of new sustainable pathway lighting
What we need
Equal financial contributions of $2 million each from Council, Victorian and Federal Governments are needed to deliver the $6 million total project by 2027.
