As a Client Care Volunteer with Peninsula Home Hospice, you'll be part of the team who provides specialist palliative care to clients in their own homes. Our aim is to optimise quality of life and honour the hope for comfort, choice, dignity and peace.

You'll have the opportunity to visit clients and their families, offering companionship and support. This could involve anything from accompanying someone to the shops or taking a drive to the beach, to simply sitting and chatting over a cup of tea.

You'll listen to people's life stories, make a meaningful impact by providing companionship as well as assistance in practical matters. By giving your time and being with your client, you'll be helping them and their carers, supporting them to live well and to die well.

At Peninsula Home Hospice, our volunteers have an impact.

Why volunteer with us?

Volunteering with us will help you connect with your community and be part of a team.

You'll be joining a high-quality service that has a meaningful impact on people's lives.

You'll learn about others, yourself and perhaps a few new skills along the way.

We welcome your interest in volunteering with Peninsula Home Hospice.

Our next intake of volunteers is planned for May 2025
