Frankston North Community Centre is looking for an open and experienced volunteer to teach trainees barista and service skills as a part of the Wednesday community lunch service.
Supported by the Coordinator and Community Development Officer, this volunteer role will guide, train and mentor trainees who are building work-readiness and industry specific skills for future employment - while also making and serving hot drinks to paying customers.
Responsibilities include:
- barista training
- fostering confidence in skills and abilities for often vulnerable and inexperienced trainees
- service of hot drinks
- face-to-face customer service
- cleaning and sanitizing of the cafe
