Meals on Wheels is an essential service that provides fresh hot meals to eligible local residents.

Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver meals directly to the homes of our community members.

Volunteers are required for delivery shifts Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 1:00pm (approx) using their own private motor vehicles. Volunteer drivers are provided with petrol vouchers as recognition of their contribution.

Carrying of meals to homes with a variety of different access points (steps, stairs, rails and no rails for access) is required.  Help to lift eski's into your car is provided but you do need to be able to carry food items to the doors of our clients.

Family members/friends are welcome to join as a pair to drive and jockey together!

Please register or call our friendly team on 9768 1624 or 0439 427 500 to chat about how this role might suit you.
