Each election period, Council selects a small number of priority projects that require Council-led advocacy to Government and Opposition in an effort to secure funding contributions.
Council works with key stakeholders for each project, such as sporting clubs, not-for-profits and community groups, in an effort to influence decision-making while engaging with the local community.

2025 Federal Election
The federal election will occur on Saturday 3 May 2025.
Visit the Australian Electoral Commission website to:
- Check and update your enrolment details
- Find your electorate
- Registration for postal voting
- Where to vote in person
