Documents available for public inspection

The Local Government Act 2020 requires various documents to be made publicly available. Council has also resolved to publish a range of additional information about the activities and responsibilities of Councillors and the Council administration. Facilitating access to these documents supports good governance through openness and accountability and aligns with Council’s Public Transparency Policy.

Summary of Election Campaign Donation Returns

Under sections 307 and 308 of the Local Government Act 2020 Council is required to publish a summary of each election campaign donation return on its website. The summary must include the name of the candidate and, if a gift is included in the return, the name of the person who made the gift and the total value of the gift received from that person.
