Community Grants for Frankston City

Local, not for profit (NFP) community groups or individuals apply for grant funding from Frankston City Council. Some grants are offered every year and some funding covers many years. The grants fit into major categories or themes. Total funds available are allocated as part of the Council’s Annual budget cycle.

Frankston City Council follows these key principles when awarding grants

Grants need to:

  • Align with Council’s values, policies, plans and strategies
  • Support community development initiatives
  • Support socially responsible community activities
  • Give consideration to groups that return the best benefits back to the community
  • Encourage and support access and equity

Each application will go through a thorough due diligence process. Further information can be found about grant procedures on the Frankston Council’s main website.
