Frankston City Council has nine Councillors. The current Councillor term began in November 2020 and will finish in November 2024.

Meetings and Briefings
Council Meetings are typically held every three weeks and are open to the public.
Councillor Briefings are sessions that provide advice and information to Councillors- prior to formally making a decision at Council Meetings. These sessions are not open to the public.

Council Decisions
Decisions are made at meetings and most decisions are public. Decisions are either carried or lost with the majority of decisions carried unamimously. The following graphs show the voting decisions Use the filters to select year, councillor name and event type.
Committees
Each year in November, Councillors nominate themselves to sit on various internal and external committees. Not every Committee features every year. The following graphs give details about Councillor participation Use the filters to select year and Committee Name.
Councillor Expenses
Councillors are entitled to reimbursement of out of pocket expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties and functions as Councillors. This is governed by the Councillor Expenses Policy and the expense categories are prescribed in the Local Government Act of 2020. The following graphs detail the expense category and the financial year and can be filtered by Councillor name.
