In Australia, rates are paid by all property owners, to fund a variety of services, programs and infrastructure which will benefit the entire local community.

This year's budget allocation is perhaps the most collaborative and community-driven in Council’s history, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has provided feedback on proposed initiatives.

We remain committed to delivering essential services, programs, and infrastructure that benefit our entire community.

With 13,000 hectares of land and 11 kilometres of stunning coastline, we maintain the safety, comfort and cleanliness for our 142,000 residents (plus our visitors)! Please call one of our friendly Customer Service staff on 1300 322 322 if you have not received your rates notice by 20 August 2023.
