Business Leaders Live is back to celebrate International Women’s Day!

This time, the popular event will be streamed live to the Invest Frankston Facebook page with an exclusive and intimate audience watching the broadcast.

Blogger and @feminaebeverageco founder, Adele Barbaro, will join Infamous Swim founder, Gemma Crowe, tomorrow (Wednesday 3 March), for a raw chat about how they rose to business success all while juggling mum and home life.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #choosetochallenge.

Adele, who has grown her @real_mumma blog to more than 109,000 followers, said she was looking forward to providing some sound advice to women who were keen to start a business but weren’t sure if they could manage the commitment.

“I get asked a lot, ‘how do you have the time to start a business, run your blog and be a mum to two kids all at the same time?’” Adele said.

“I’m so passionate about helping others pursue their dreams too so I am looking forward to sharing some tips as well as having a chat with Gemma about our stories.”

Gemma, who had her fourth son less than two months ago, said she was keen to chat about what inspired her to start Infamous Swim and the key drivers in her success.

“Two of my biggest learnings from running my own business is how to effectively manage cash flow and to understand who your audience is and how to market to them, so I’m really excited to delve into these two topics on the night,” Gemma said.

Infamous Swim is one of Australia’s most popular swimwear brands for women and children.

The Business Leaders Live – International Women’s Day event is brought to you by Invest Frankston and Frankston City Council.

It will be filmed at Cube37 and streamed live on the Invest Frankston Facebook page on Wednesday 3 March at 7.30pm.

The event will be hosted by Kate Fennessy from Paperboat Digital.
