Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) will celebrate its Health Club of the Year Award with a fun morning of free activities.
Peninsula Leisure CEO Kath Thom said: “This award would not have been possible without our amazing PARC community and to show our appreciation we have put together a fun morning of activities the entire family can enjoy.
“Join us at Beauty Park, Frankston, on Sunday 6 March from 9am – 11am for a health workout, which will include an exercise circuit suitable for varying levels of age, fitness and ability, a fun group exercise ‘Mash Up’ and a relaxing stretching session to cool down afterwards,” she said.
PARC’s Acting Health and Fitness Manager, Christine Rich, added: “It’s going to be a great morning with competitions, prizes, giveaways and did we mention the free coffee? There’s no bookings required – we hope you can make it!
“There’ll also be some healthy treats for everyone to enjoy on their way home after a great morning of activity,” she said.
PARC recently cemented its reputation as the region’s premier aquatic and fitness facility – winning two major awards at the prestigious Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) Awards.
PARC won top honours with the Health Club of the Year while Peninsula Leisure employee, Pru Drago, was recognised for her stellar work as the Personal Trainer of the Year.
The ARV Industry Gala Awards recognise and reward outstanding achievement and commitment to the Aquatics and Recreation sector.
PARC also won the Health Club of the Year award in 2019 and has adapted and improved its offering by including more opportunities to stay active during COVID, including PARC Your
Way – a digital exercise platform which the community can access for free via www.parcyourway.com.au, and online and outdoor personal training.
