The Mayor’s Family Picnic offers something for everyone

The Mayor’s Family Picnic is back on Saturday 17 September.

The event has grown, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Located at Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve, Wedge Road, Carrum Downs.  

Mayor Nathan Conroy looks forward to a great day for the community. “The Mayor’s Family Picnic has always been a special event for the whole community and this year is no exception, with a variety of awesome activities for everyone to enjoy,” he said.

“There’s something for everyone, young and old, teens, kids, adults.”

Below are some of the highlights:

  • live musical performances across two stages, including X-factor finalist Andrew Wishart
  • an array of food trucks with delicious food to try
  • market stalls from operators behind the Sunset Twilight Market series on the Frankston Foreshore
  • giant bubble shows and workshops to entertain and delight
  • interactive playscapes and programs for all to enjoy
  • an inflatable maze to entertain the young and young at heart
  • for the first time this year, there will be ‘treats’ for adults with Dainton Brewery and That Spirited Lot serving beverages

Families can pack a picnic rug, enjoy a BBQ or sample the cuisine available on site.
