Frankston City Council invites all community members to take an active role in shaping our city's future.

Residents are encouraged to share their vision for Frankston’s future and provide feedback on Council services they wish to see improved or expanded.

Community members can meet the team in person at various drop-in sessions held across Frankston City or by participating in an online survey available at engage.frankston.vic.gov.au/your-vision

Feedback collected will directly shape Council’s future services outlined in the refreshed Community Vision 2040, Council Plan, Asset Plan and Financial Plan.

Frankston City Council Mayor Nathan Conroy said: “Our key strategic documents are vital in guiding the future trajectory of Frankston City. They are developed to ensure our services and resources are aligned with the needs and aspirations of our community.”

Since 2021, Council has been diligently working to achieve the community’s vision by delivering services under our Council Plan 2021-2025.

Mayor Conroy said: “You’ve told us that some of Council’s services are more important than others, or that you would like to see improvements in some areas. We have heard your voices loud and clear, acknowledging that certain services are of greater importance while others may require enhancements.”

A key supporter of the project and community consultation advocate, North-West Ward Cr Sue Baker JP, reminds us that inclusive, robust engagement is key to capturing the true heart of our residents.

Cr Baker said: “The heart of Frankston lies in its people and as we chart our course towards 2040, it is your stories, your needs, and your dreams that will light the way. I urge everyone to join us in this exciting journey towards a vibrant and inclusive future for our city. Your voice is the cornerstone of our community’s progress.”

Now, it is your opportunity to once again shape the agenda. Your invaluable feedback directly shapes the framework of our new Council Plan 2025-2029 and other strategic documents.

Cr Baker added: “We’re opening the floor to you – our residents – to ensure that the diverse voices of the Frankston City community are heard and valued.”
