Apply to register or transfer a domestic animal business

You will need a domestic animal business permit to start or transfer an existing business, such as:

  • pet shop
  • boarding establishment
  • dog training establishment
  • breeding and rearing establishment.

The current fee is $430.00 

You may also need a planning permit if you intend to run the business from your home.

Step 4.What happens next?

When we have received your application, we will contact you to advise how to pay. If you have provided an email address, you will receive a link with details explaining how to pay the fee online.
